In line with its policy of supporting the university's faculty members, the Deanship of Scientific Research, through its special committees, has examined a large selection of research papers and identified the ones that meet the criteria for outstanding publication.
The Deanship Council, in its session no 3 dated 6/3/1441 recommend the disbursement of the sum of 390,000 Saudi riyals for these research projects, to be distributed as follows: five research papers in the healthcare field, eight research papers in the field of engineering and applied sciences, and twenty-three research papers in the scientific field.
The Deanship explained that these research projects deserved the rewards and support for meeting the criteria and regulations, and for adhering to the standards adopted by the Deanship, which enabled them to be published in international databases and benefit from a high impact factor.
It added that continuing to distribute the awards of distinguished publication would motivate the other researchers of the university faculty to follow suit by proceeding to work on excellent research that qualifies both for the award and for international publication. This, in turn, would contribute to the promotion and advancement of research at the university, and also benefit the researcher himself.
